Hounds Town USA’s Fourth Location is Already Brimming with Four-Legged Regulars

The doors were barely open for business when the four-legged customers came a-knockin’! After a busy grand opening on Saturday, March 4th, Hounds Town Commack saw many of their first doggie daycare customers waiting to check out the new place bright and early Monday morning. Good thing owners Thomas and his wife Teri are early birds.

When Thomas and Teri aren’t at the facility running it themselves, their niece Meghan is in charge. “It’s important to us that Hounds Town Commack is family run and operated,” says Teri. And with Meghan’s nearly 15-year career as a veterinary technician, her role as Manager of the newest Hounds Town is one that fits her well. She has extensive experience caring for and treating not only dogs and cats, but also birds, reptiles, fish, ferrets, and rabbits.

In addition to working as a vet tech at a local veterinarian’s office, Meghan has spent the past eight months training at Hounds Town USA’s corporate location in Ronkonkoma, where she regularly managed dozens of dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments, and sizes. “We’re lucky to have such an experienced family member lead our pack!” says Teri. “We like that our customers can feel good knowing Meghan is a seasoned pet professional trained in dog management, dog CPR, and well versed in many medical and health issues in dogs and cats,” explains Teri.

The pet care facility—which offers fully interactive doggie daycare, luxury overnight boarding, and full service grooming—is gearing up for Spring Break with specials like FREE doggie daycare, FREE upgrades to luxury suites, FREE baths, and ½ price monthly packages.
